If you've used Triv.it recently, you may have noticed we have a lot of new ways to use our web app! Here's a quick rundown of the game types:
AUTOMATED GAMES
Automated games: This game type gives the ability for teams to submit their answers from their phones. When an automated game is created, a game code will be displayed to the host and teams can use that game code to log in to triv.it to submit answers for each round.
Automated Games with Q&A: When the host starts an “Automated Game with Q&A,” the current week’s questions and answers will be displayed to the host. Hosts will also be given the ability to download or print the picture round.
Automated Games without Q&A: When the host starts an “Automated Game without Q&A” there will be no questions or answers displayed but teams will still be able to login and submit answers on their phones. Automated games without Q&A give hosts more flexibility in adjusting the number of rounds and customizing questions.
MANUAL GAMES
Manual Games: This game type does not give teams the ability to log-in and submit answers, but still provides hosts with an interactive score sheet. This is perfect for hosts that still like to use the “classic” pen and paper answer sheets.
Manual Games with Q&A: When the host starts a “Manual Game with Q&A” the current week’s questions and answers will be displayed to the host. Hosts will also be given the ability to download or print the picture round. Teams do not have the ability to submit answers from their phones.
Manual Games without Q&A: When the host starts a “Manual Game without Q&A” there will be no questions or answers displayed. Manual games without Q&A give hosts more flexibility in adjusting the number of rounds and customizing questions.
